Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water (or lagoon...) Great representation of a classic monster. Excellent work!

Wow! This is just some of the best classic horror work I've ever seen on here! I give it the highest rating possible. One question, is the Creature a Poser Model?

THX shane! No the creature is an actual model, I retextured, colored and lit to make it more realistic. I thought the coloring with the background should be more vivid to feel as you were actually in the water with the Creature. I added fire and hue change to make the water murky with Paint.net. I surprised myself with the results as I made many variations and this was my choice for the logon and the wall.

As a 60's kid I grew up loving the Universal Monster movies, the Creature was always my favourite and this is just awesome

When I first saw this I thought Wowwwwwwwwwww!!!! It was one of my favourite creatures from way back then. I Was so proud that you alowed me to use it and colabourate on my finnished piece. I mean how do you make something that was awesome to start with appear fresh and new? I guess we were able to pull it off with your guidence and help I have become a logon maker and now am trying a bit in digital manipulation. Not at all great, but I am pleased with the few pieces I've done. Thanks again Stramp. So glad you shared your experience with me and inspired me with your great logons to carry on. I'm glad you like George Grie as well as me because I'm so busy with other artists pieces I've not bothered him so much on a daily bases for his permissions which at last count were up to 6 so I've got a lot of catching up to do on his alone LOL Sincere, Thanks Charlie
