Hi there.
Like pronounced yesterday - a deep look into the face of that hunter. It's the same Hornet from the shots posted last week. But - a new lens, a new look.
This shot was taken with a 60mm Nikkor Macro Lens, scale is 1:1. This was a freehand shot using an external flash with manual settings on the cam and flash.

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! Good lord thats a closeup! Bout fell out of my seat! But I gotta say- that new macro is SHARP, not to mention how glad I am to see that you used manual settings- and even on the flash! Very, very nice! Man- you can even see the bumps of the compound eyes-- and every fiber on his body!
