Beautiful Photo Jock. The atmosphere is so different at the Canyon day to day & hr to hr, even if you had a stationary camera, no two captures would look the same!

Nice illustration of the rock erosion, Jock. The layers are like growth rings in trees, telling of varying water levels and other forces carving away at the hard surfaces.

So sorry I haven't made to your gallery until now, Back in 2004 I had to abruptly leave the world of art creating due to illness(since recovered) I must say this one caught my attention right away, love seeing real photo's of landscapes from other parts of the USA. Now if I could just recreate this texture and incorporate it into my southwest renderings,(big fan of southwest)Amazing photo!
