Now this is wonderfully up-close-and-personal. Snails and their slug cousins are always so fascinating, and you do great justice to them here. I love the clarity and the glassy sheen of snail-snot on the wonderfully-pebbled skin of this beauty. Great work!

I know snails and slugs are rapacious eaters of gardens .. but they are adorable .. Oh I know .. I find the strangest things adorable. I think I'm way too influence by the fairy tales I read as a child, little folk traveling on snail's back, etc. So I think this is a wonderful and beautiful macro of a transporter of the little people!!
