A sweet little birdie told me it was your birthday today, so this sweet little goose and I are here to wish you a happy birthday. I figured you would be overwhelmed by so many beautiful flowers today, so now you can say you recieved a goose for your birthday, LOL. I hope you have a great day!

a fine detailed closeup, with fine detail on the wings, and nice light on the beak; and you left just a tad of its striking blue tail visible, which I love. You always do fine fowl, and this one is a real portrait. Nice reflections in front too (in the water), and I'm glad you got the angle of his face. A nice portrait of a goose. And Happy Birthday to Diane, who is apparently a beloved soul in these parts! I'll go to her gallery this summer. A lovely head-on fowl shot, it really feels like a studio portrait. I guess when you photograph them enough, you get a feel for their poses, postures, etc. Fine work Lynell.
