Description

This was taken, of course, just before my Peony's opened. Ants COVER each of the flower buds and it has always been said that these ants are needed for the buds to open. NOT TRUE. They'd open whether they are present or not. Ants simply love the sweet resin on them buds. Just thought I'd give you a little info :) Shot taken with my macro 90mm lens. And, texture added.
