Description
Hello Happy Visitor!
Here is my concept of an elegant pocket watch; a little different than usual since it has a glass outer face instead of a standard silver or gold one. You will note that the 5 and the 7 gold medallion buttons are on the glass cover-face, not on a peg medallion like the 6 o’clock hour. I was looking at the wire-frame and thinking to myself, “Self…how would you like to tell time with this piece?” and then it hit me: put them
on the cover-face so that when closed, you could tell the proper time all the way around.
Neat, huh?
I have played with the two halves a lot having made the silver and gold hinge workable so that it would open and close. I may go back into it and highly detail the back of the watch and add a denser material to the watch face, but who knows. I may even animate the whole thing and set it to the music from a De Beers commercial. I will have to keep you posted on that one.

This was three hours of my life that I will never get back, but it was worth the time .
