Description
No more cakes, No more mister nice guy tonight we have exclusive pictures of a murder taking place.
Not sure if I should tick the violence box but hell I decided not too, here we have a picture of an incident as the police would say, something you don't see very often if at all, the spider jumped the wasp, Big mistake, after a struggle the wasp won and started to eat the spider or possibly cut it up to take back to the hive.

Biggest thing I hate about wasps!!!! From what I've seen, it looks like they prefer spiders too! Pretty cool capture all the same,.....sometimes the spider wins!

Great shot! My very first pictures on this site were of a similar incident at the beachhut, so exciting to watch, but in my event the spider won. (They are on the first page of my gallery if you are interested.)

WOW! Just goes to show, don't mess with yellow jackets...they're tough and don't take crap from anybody, not even spiders! Fantastic details, and yeah, if she dismembered the spider, it's likely she took the easy-to-carry parts back home for a hive feast. Great work, and a lovely capture. Nature is always at its most intriguing and beautiful, usually when violence and predation occur. Fantastic.
