Description

This image is a fractal quilt that I made from some of the fractal images that I have posted over the past two years. Over the next two months I will be busy getting ready for my very first art show. It is an exciting time for me and is an opportunity for me to show how fractal art can be both beautiful and creative. During this time I will be printing my pieces and creating Power Point style animations for digitally displaying my body of work. It is a small show and I am excited to have this opportunity to bring my dream into form. Because of the amount of time that is needed to prepare for this event, I will be posting once a week starting now and going through the end of August. I want thank all of my friends here at Renderosity for your encouraging comments and frequent visits to my gallery. Without you and your continuous encouragement, this new adventure would not have been possible. Though I may not be commenting as often on your wonderful galleries just remember that I shall be thinking of you in between each moment of time and between each beat of my heart. I have come to think of you all as my extended family and that means so much to me. In light, Gayle Our thought for the day is: 'Do the thing and you will have the power.' -Emerson May the light of the Universe illuminate your path of life and may the truth of your beingness bring you joy and delight. Thank you for stopping by to share a moment of time with me and for viewing my art. Thank you for your comments on this image and my previous images. Each one is like a precious jewel and will always be treasured. I send a most heart felt thank you to those of you who have favored me as an artist or have favored one of my images. Your visits to my gallery mean a lot to me. They make my world a little brighter and bring rainbows to my valley of life. My Fine Art America Store

Gayle, what a gorgeous quilt of fractals! Would love to have one of those on my bed ;-) Wish you good luck with your first Art Show. I know the preparation can take up a lot of your time: which ones to show, how to print, how large, what frame etc. How much space and in what order should they hang. But I'm sure it will look wonderful and you will get enthousiastic responses on the opening.

well you know by now how much I adore your art, and I couldn't be happier that you're having a show, and I wish it were broadcast around the world on wide-screen tv! I've loved the individual 'pieces' in your art, the spheres & squares & petals and on and on; and it's wonderful that you've posted some examples by themselves. Your squares really do make a quilt, and each one is rich and gemlike in itself as well. I could almost picture a miniature book, a square hand-sized book, with pages & pages of these; each one is so you and so rich and simple & beautiful. Distilled Gayle! The comments here are wonderful too: The whole gallery wishes you the best! Well I do too! Come back whenever you can (I'm no stranger to absences!), but just be radiant in your art and show. I wish you all the best. As for the quilt—I may go out and buy one for next winter!

Gayle this is an amazing collage or quilt as it really appears to be, and how proud you should feel to have created all those fabulous fractal squares within the quilt. I wish you the very best of luck and joy in your adventure and will look forward to seeing your work if only once a week. all the best hugs Jane xx
