Description
Like a flower in desert sands
Silently burning oh so bright,
You've pulled us all your many friends
Into your shining circle of light.
This flower knows no fear,
Hope is all it needs as it grows.
It doesn't see "hopelessness" near
To do its best is all it knows.
So put your face into the warming glow
Spread your arms out, proudly array
Do your level best and God will know
And will bless you in every way.
And as you bloom out there all alone
In some desert scoured and bare,
Know in our hearts you have found a home,
And wherever you may be -
Why, we too will be there.
