Description
Here it is!!!
The Hillbilly Hotub!!!
A dear friend of ours gave us this tub about 6 or 7 yrs ago.But no pump or heater, and we had to cut the hoses to move it.
Then one year I decided I needed a kiddie pool for my grandson, So we decided to plug up all the holes in the tub, and there were a lot of them...LOL
We had lots of ~fun~ in the plumbing depts. of
the local hardware stores, but we finally got it plugged up. It holds 900 gallons of water.
Then we hooked a swimming pool pump up to it for circulating water, Put a few pool chemicals in it AND Tada!!! you have a pool... oops Hillbilly Hotub.
We enjoy it.
Hope you enjoy the PIC!

If it were a true hillybilly hot tub, there would be a possum swimming around for circulation. lol! No, this is cool. I can't imagine how much fun it is for the kiddies. Wonderful!

It is very refreshing... and worth the effort to keep it clean!! It has been in the 100's here for awhile, and it's only June! Almost July and then August.... HOT~~~~

Yup... anything is possible - and fun. We once had an old, discarded, upright, fiberglass 5 foot tall water tank. We we put a plug in the drain hole, put it on bricks so it was off the ground and fill it with water. It made a great standing "swimming pool" in the 100+ degree temps. Every week we'd empty it rinse it and refill it. In the summer sun, that water would warm up like a big bathtub. I love your hillbilly hot tub. :-)
