Description

This one's for a fantastic Renderosity artist and good UK friend who has given me much inspiration and comment to my work. Take the time to visit his remarkable gallery. You won't be disappointed. Plants, urns, column and mats are all mine. There is one radial light positioned in the vaulting above the urn resting upon the column. Enjoy and thanks for your views and any comments you wish to share. Bryce 6.1 PW with PhotoScape 3.3 The basic Arched Ruin courtesy of 'warloks' and can be found in the Bryce Free Stuff. _____________________________________ This will probably be my last render upload for awhile as the slumping economy here in the States is causing me to cut some things to make ends meet. The old paycheck goes only so far. Thus, since I already have a cell (mobile) phone, I am going to do without the landline phone which is also my high speed ISP provider. I will be off the Web entirely by week's end. I'll be back here at RR as soon as possible, but in the meantime you can still enjoy my gallery and I will catch up with yours when I return.

Stunning render, Keith - one of your very best IMO. You've really outdone yourself with the vegetation, and the lighting is wonderful! Great dedi for Peter, too. I hope you get back online soon - Renderosity won't be the same without your regular illuminating artworks and huge personality...

Excellent work Keith, you have been busy with this one haven't you. I can just imagine some of e-brinks characters stood around this scene. You will be missed very much around here and I hope you return very soon. A fabulous tribute to a great artist. Tony.

Thanks, Keith - and this is a really nice picture. The peace and quiet of a mausoleum can be very inspiring - as can graveyards, actually. I spend a lot of my time in graveyards. I love the gentle and positive light you have thrown onto these ruins... the same positive light you have cast upon Renderosity in general. Indeed, you will be very greatly missed by many people here and I am sure your quick return will be desired by all. Meanwhile, you will be able to work at your art without the interruption of the internet - it could be a very productive season for you. So thanks again for this, but most of all, thank you for your friendship.

Fantastic and well deserved dedication. e-brink is an inspiration to so many out here and I can already see that he enjoys this. What a beautiful, classical place you've created. The light and atmosphere are perfect. I love what you've done with the plants, and texturing. And though it may be a place of ruin it is also a place of growth, rest, and the stairs and the light convey to me hope and energy. I like seeing the old stone contrasted with the shiny metal, too. Bringing the past and future together. I find these types of places to be full of the life force, self-reflection, and healing. Taking a break from the Web can be good. If you do ever want to post or communicate in the near future, don't forget about all the free wifi spots that exist these days if you have a laptop or cell phone access. At least where I live they're in the libraries (including computers), shopping malls, airports, and or cafes. A talent like yours shouldn't sit dormant too long--without the world seeing your work. I've been wanting to spend more time in your gallery. I've not seen much of it, and I do need to visit. We can all continue to keep your gallery alive and well by commenting and enjoying your work until your return. Best of luck to you.
