Description

This is the pier in Swakopmund, Namibia and I captured this image in March this year. Marilyn, I vividly remember thinking of you when I snapped away and remembering how much you like photographing piers. As you can see, I couldn't exactly get underneath it for that classic shot! The tide was a tad high!! LOL... Hope you and everyone else enjoys it! Thank you all for popping in and for your very valued comments and favs on my Bermuda upload of last night! Stay well! My first thought was "Oh oh, better be careful walking out there!" Then I realized that the walkways were on the sides--DOH! That's me being dumb....What a great shot, and a perfect dedi!

Oh gosh - this is wonderful! I love the pov, and the fact that you've captured something so familiar and at the same time so unusual! (Our piers are solid across the top, generally speaking, and are made all of wood.) I love the rushing of the water, and the sharp shadows. Beautiful image!
