Nice period work. While I like the render, for artistic critique purposes I would prefer more light on the crossing point of the swords, and I would like to see the subjects on one side of the scene or the other--which would denote who has control in the fencing, and would also add some drama if the losing opponent is backed against the scene wall. It loses impact when it is a toss-up as to who is winning. If the point is that the confrontation is at a stand-off with crossed swords, then IMHO, the emphasis needs to be on the point of action between the swords. I add these points because they came to my art historian's mind immediately, and thus are persuasive in my perception of this art. Still, as usual, I love all of your art.

This is the kind of scene I like. Great. Better than look some plastic Butts and tetes. I still think it's a good scene, It could be the start of the battle. If it it's there is no need to be to picky.
