Description


Ice Bound is a frozen universe in another space and time. For those of you who are familiar with Kleinian inversion fractals, it is literally on the "cusp" between chaos and order. These fractals are of an entirely different variety from the typical Mandelbrot/Julia type fractals. This image integrates both types. The colors are based upon a winter color pallete created by Ken Childress. I know it is summertime, but this is definitely a winter scene. As usual, the image was created totally with UltraFractal 5 with no post processing.
