Description

Digital drawing in Photoshop 5.5 Wacomb tablet I've had this idea for some time, and wanted to show this centurion returning to the cross but wanted to show the passage of time. Thought that snow would help to show this, did'nt know if it snowed in Jerusalem or not tho, so I googled it, yep it does... cool ! No pun intended. I really wanted to paint this conventionally, however Ive been trying to finish the library painting, the sign project for the park, the website and struggling with a dying business, as well as being faced with the prospect of finding a job in this economy (forvive the ranting) I got a pen for my tablet for the sign project, have'nt had one for a few years now. Anyway I decided to bring him back to the Cross digitally... ( in a sense we're both returning) I hope to paint this in conventional medium sometime but for now this will have to do, it's a lot faster. Tom p.s. Thank you all for your support and kind words !!! Please let me know what you think!

Of course I like the subject immensely. I am very interested to see what you are able to do with the WACOM tablet and pen. I am no freehand artist but am interested in getting a WACOM one day. I have friends who use a tablet to digitally edit photos and do photo manipulations with it. So, I'll be all eyes on this project.

That is a wonderful idea, Tom. It will have many different emotions attached to it. I understand what you mean by your return. Just remember how the story turns out, and keep your hope strong, because you never know what will come form this. Look at everything as a growth opportunity. I look forward to seeing this developed or finished, depending on how you plan on doing it. I wish you a steady course, Tom.
