Description

I think that is what they are called. When I was little I used to (and sometimes still do) believe that it is God talking to someone. After taking this image, I read here that you are not supposed to take direct images of the sun. I personally did not look directly in the camera, but I did not know that it could hurt my camera. Hopefully it did not. So thank you to who posted that information. I would like to know how it is others are able to take images of the sun without it damaging their camera? Only slight adjustment and remove cast color. it was very dark around the outside of image. Thank you for taking a peek and please enjoy your week! Thank you to those who have left comments on past images and to those who have added me or my images to their favorites! I am most grateful that you have enjoyed.

Oh Beth! This is stunning! It looks like God's eye, the rays like eyelashes, the sun would be the iris .. it's a stunning and gorgeous capture! Someone told me the same thing, that it will ruing the light sensor. I have no idea how to safely take these pictures. I have avoided taking direct sun pictures since I was told that. Perhaps sending a site mail to one of the photographers here .. busi2ness comes to mind, and there are others as well. Bunny (bpclarke) might know as well, she does quite a bit of photography as well.

What an amazing capture! Gorgeous shot. The main reason I avoid the shots with a lot of the sun showing is it can damage the camera and your eye as well. busi2ness, danob, or richardphotos would be the ones to ask for sure. This is stunning though.
