Description

This was specifically done for Keith (photostar) as a thank you for all his wonderful support and genuine friendship in the last year or so. Keith is a professional organist and one of the most genuine people I know. His Bryce scenes have a wonderful, genuine honesty about them and a great deal of his own character - which is so important in art and a quality I find very often in this sort of 'very human and life-driven' site gallery. It's what makes the place great. The message in this picture is: "Whatever the obstacle we must rise above it!". See my web site HERE. Produced mainly in Bryce with Daz|Studio and Photoshop. All the models are from Renderosity and Daz with a version of the flying steamship model by P. Drawbridge, which I modified for this.

Whoa, theres alot of little and subtle details there. Love the scene, and the lighting. Has a bit of a Jules Vern quality to it, the sort of image that'd portray some of the adventure stories he wrote.

This is a re-comment (or do-over) I commented on this back when I was first commenting and had not become fairly comfortable with giving my wordiness free reign. What I wrote then, couldn't possibly express the impact this had on me, so I'm going again. This is wonderful! Not just beautiful, which it is, but very exciting. I don't mean in an adventure way, though they are obviously having one. It's more like walking into a beautiful, spacious and old library in a manor house. It's not just the books, or the paintings or the secluded nooks by the window or the carved plaster ceiling. Its seeing all of it together and exploring each thing separately. That's the kind of excitement I felt when I looked at this image. The light, color and atmosphere are excellent! I love the golden light hitting the rocks and that amazing structure on the left. The structure adds such an otherworldly feel to the image. It's wonderful to see inside the floatation device of the ship. I love the translucent quality of it, the circular shapes and the stairs going up. Beautiful grey and golden tones, wonderful details, fantastic image! Great name to pick for the ship and title. I had to look it up. It's very appropriate for your dedication. Keith has a beautiful gallery!
