Description
Another street musician in Oxford, this time steel drums and boy could this guy play, I love the sound of a steel band it always sounds so happy.
PS. this drum looked professionally made but at one show we were at they were made from half of an oil drum.

We saw how this type of drum was built on "How its Made" (I think that was the show...) It was MOST awesome to see all the work that goes into it...I bet it is spectacular listening to one being played! Beautiful image!:-)

I believe they are mainly made from oil drums, we had a steel pan band at the school I taught at. Trindad, oil and steelpans all go together...I agree, what a fab sound! A superb shot, by the way!
