What a charming kid. If that's your daughter you may want to invest in a sturdy club or two-by-four for the purpose of driving away over-zealous wooers, pretty soon. The sharpness and clarity of your photo is also a pretty good advertisement for Olympus cameras :)

She is such a pretty subject one might think your job an easy one, but that belies the work you did to paint her with light as effectively as you have done! I think the sofa top is a bit distracting though. I would have cropped a bit off the bottom. Great photo!

I want you to know that this is an award-winning portrait. The perfect triangle of light on the cheek is incredible from what appears to be ambient lighting...the hair light, the clarity of focus, the graphic balance, the color of the foreground, the unfocused vertical background, the charming Mona Lisa smile, the kindness in her eyes, the personality of the necklace, the child-like hand placement...I could go on and on. I see 4 lights in her eyes, but it still appears to be taken from ambient light---that is excellent. I apprenticed (30 years ago) under a PPA president who was a portrait photographer. After judging many show images, I must tell you that I have extremely high regard for this photograph. It needs to be oil-painted, as well. It is so superior that I may ask you for permission to create a vector image from it. Truly a 10+
