Okay I am trying my heart out here Sandra :) Well I know it's not a storm drain as I don't see steps built in the side. I'm keeping in mind this region you mentioned is right on the shore so I know it has to do with the water. mmmm I also know some of Canada's tallest lighthouses are located here. mmmm Well my money is on this being a view up into one of those lighthouse towers.

I have no idea what it is. It looks like the jump off point to infinity. A most excellent capture and the black and white only enhances the subject all the more! Great job!

Your mystery is interesting, as much as she can in some circumstances deceive an observer, in him analysis of plate. Your shot can be as well closed - up of a Stanley knife with round handle, as the pphoto of an accés in the visit of sewers taken since the soil of the douterrain. What makes me write that I am unaware of what you photograph, it is because the vertical elements do not seem to be scéllés staircases in the wall of behaviour I give my languishing to the cat after 10 mn of hesitancy! Nice job!!!

Hmm, I think Magnus073 may be the closest, is it one of the 8 concrete buttresses that support the column of the Pointe-au-Pere lighthouse? I freakin' hope so as I have "googled" myself silly for the past 30 mins but have had a lovely tour of whole region lol. Yes I must admit I do suffer from the more commonly known disease called "Googleitis" :) Knowing me I am totally wrong lol but it was fun, thanks Sandra what a great quiz.

Interesting shot Sandra! The light could be the sky, and the object looks like cast iron, so you could have photographed the view up an old chimney stack!!

I think it might be an air vent of some kind. It's not a silo, or sewer drain no ladder. Excellent POV.
