Happy fourth July to American artists!The flag what You see here is so called Betsy Ross flag.She was a seamstress who according to legend designed and made the first American flag.There were 13 stars and 13 red and white stripes,because this is the number of states,that signed Declaration of Independence.

It's also the flag we prefer to fly from the porch. Nothing against the other states, we are just history buffs and the neighborhood eccentrics. ;-)
