Hello all!
Happy fourth of July !!!
My cocker spaniel Belle had six puppies the day before yesterday !
She was in labor for the longest time and then it stopped and nothing so we thought all was lost. Rushed her to the vet she had to have an emergancy c -sec . Took the vet and entire staff half an hour (a team of 6 )to bring them back to life . Thankful for how hard they worked to revive all six pups . WOW we were not expecting six !!!

*Reason to celebrate!
So just wanted to share this sweet little new life and what I woke up to this morning one of the babies on the paper. This shot wasn't set up just the way it was (as we can not touch them for three days vet says so they keep thier orginall sent and mommy dog can bond ) the others soon joined .
He is sleeping here but normally this guy is the routy one - my little firework ! )

Wow what a wonderful gift they are so gorgeous, but sorry that Mum had to have a c-section. I bred dogs for 30 years and would touch the pups from the first day, and especially as their mother's knew me so well, but there you go perhaps your vet has different ideas. Sometimes the little ones need a little help to find the milk bar in those early days, and sometimes a maiden mum may happen to roll onto one of her cute babes, and it is necessary to touch them when rescuing them. I am so happy for you, but remember pups are great time wasters so you will get nothing much else done as these adorable pups grow, they are always so fascinating Kim.
