Hi all! You guys might remember me posting some photos back in January of The Southern Star Observation Wheel.
UPDATE: Shortly after we rode it it was closed down due to being structurally unsafe. It still sits in limbo to this day. Even though the carriages have been taken away, its still a striking image IMHO. The story goes that the steel reacted badly to a record heat wave, but others say it has always been a disaster waiting to happen. Unfortuantly, the people who staffed it during it's short lifetime all lost their jobs.
