Description

Life is a journey. It is not the destination that is the lesson but rather the paths that we choose to take as we approach our destination. Sometimes our paths are hilly but most of the times our paths can be smooth and easy sailing. As we continue to grow and develop, we have lessons that will appear in our lives. Our job is to learn from each lesson and move forward with our gained knowledge. And so it is with all that we do, say or hear. We weed out and discard those things that are no longer the truth of being and we retain the soulful enlightenments that promote our highest good and spirituality. So today... just for today... let us do a little mental housekeeping check. What are the things that we have so long ago stored away and are no longer serving our highest good? If we can identify some of them, that's great. The best news about all of this is that we really don't have to recall or remember all of those old worn out thoughts. We don't have to remember them and we don't have to reclaim them in order to release them. When we are ready, and when we have allowed ourselves the opportunity to release the old, we will find that we can lighten our load by simply giving ourselves permission to let go of the old so that we can usher in the new. Our process will be to give ourselves permission to release that which no longer serves us... whether known or unknown to us. And because we are ready and willing to let go of our old stuff, something brighter and better will be ready to take its place. Nature hates a vacuum and will rush to fill it in. When we create our vacuum, we can choose what rushes in to take its place. Our mental talk can go something like this: 'I allow myself to release that which no longer serves me... whether known or unknown to me. I allow that which is no longer the truth of my being to flow away and dissipate into nothingness. In that nothingness, those old thoughts will be turned into wisps of positive energy and returned to the Universe to be used by another.' It is amazing how things can and do change when we allow ourselves to let go. How amazing. How truly amazing. Our thought for the day is: 'There is no grander sight in the world than that of a person fired with a great purpose, dominated by one unwavering aim.' Again, another life lesson to be remembered and to be grateful for. Sometimes that one has been hard-earned for me, but I find change is always worth it in the end. It's like my parents used to tell me: when one door closes, another one opens. And you've taken this to a deeper internal level. Thanks for presenting your vision in such clear and uplifting words. The images in your gallery are always so beautiful to gaze at in wonder. Fractals take me outside myself, make me think in new ways and they make me ponder the mysteries of the universe. You definitely know what you're doing here and to combine these images with spriritual lessons is a wonderful idea. I like the webs and jagged arches, and the amber glow is so effective.
