For me Rich the horizon in a lot of your landscape images is far to low. there is nothing of interest in the sky. The viewers eye will never go past the horizon if there's nothing of interest to look at. This photo is a prime example. In a photo there should be no wasted space. Try lifting your horizon you'll you get more depth. I hope this hasn't offended you but helped you instead. Geoff Woods.
