Well, Well, well... I have had a very bad weekend. For those of you who follow my posts on a regular basis, my last 2 posts had had trouble getting though the censors. It seems that there is too much nudity in them -at least in the thumbnail. I have been back and forward with numerous emails not only with the moderators but also with the admin at Rendo. Needless to say my previous good feelings toward Rendo has been tarnished severlly. Who would believe that a christian recording artist/
musician who also happens to be an fantasy illustrator would ever be censored due to nudity! And this is not the first time either!
I take what I do very seriously. Over the last month, I have invested well over $200 on merchandise here at Rendo specificaly for my daily upload habit. I enjoy it and the feedback that I recieve from all of you here at the gallery tremendosly.
With this said I probally will not be posting as much here anymore, at least for a while. And probally not any more women in skimppy outfits. It's a shame too. I thought that I was following the guidelines, but I guess I wasn't. To me the Advisory notice was unneeded because there wasnt any nudity in the picture. I guess I was wrong. I did put a notice on my picture "Jigai" a couple of weeks back because of the intended violence that was implied in that image and was repremanded for it because the image it self was not violent.
So I am confused. To me the human body, espescially the female body, is one of the most beutiful gifts that God has given us. I am reminded of this every time I am painting over the Bryce render I am working on.
Oh well the steam has been spent and the soapbox has started to creak more than I like. Time to get off of it and back to buisness.
I am looking forward to the new Harry Potter film comming out. Been watching the last 5 again, so I am sure that that has had an influence on this illustration. Hope you enjoy!

Your work is awesome and I am sorry to hear your having trouble keeping your work up...its going around allot...someone has really got to do something about this in administration because even as big as Rendo is, they can still fall. This post is EXCELLENT by the way...very well done. Love the lighting, atmosphere and the superb details in it. I get the sense the look on his face is what your expression is right about now...:-)

My friend! I will first get on mine.... You are not the first Artist of some caliber to either leave or cut back on the uploads. I am not sure what the moderators are trying to prove, but they certainly haven't realised that at this rate they will soon have NO site left.... Your art has had no over the top nudity at all. I can think straight of of two other noted and in one case, much loved, artist that have left. I have had a 'run in' myself. I will miss your 'Fantasy Women'. I too accept it for art, not 'Porn. Which is what they seem to do. It always amazes me that it's alright for 'them' to view it, but we, the public and artists, cannot! Go figure.... Enough! Onto your piece. Masterly. Detailed to the Max. A brilliantly drawn piece of fantasy art. Well done. Rob.

The staff here isn't trying to prove anything. There are a set of rules that need to be followed here. This is a fine image. My only suggestion would be to change the color of the light coming from the lantern. I think a softer more yellowish hue you add a lot of atmosphere to the overall image.Good job with the expression too.

pushinfaders, you know, I had thought of that as well and indeed in an early version of this, i did that very thing. But I found that I lost too much detail in the background. debbielove, thanks for your support. I am not going to come down on the mods, just the decision that was made in these two images. For those that clearly do over step the line, I most certainly would and have posted an advisory. I guess that it is a fine line.
