I had a chance to catch our local Classic Car show this 4th July weekend. Each year I miss this show for some reason or another so I was glad I caught it this year. The weather was gorgeous and the old classics really showed their beauty in the Hawaiian sun. I was like a kid in the candy store moving from car to car and shooting to my hearts content. I shot over 600 images and I won't make you suffer through each of them, but I will be posting quite a few.
I'm no car buff so I really couldn't tell you what each car is...I'm sure many of you will remember these classics.
There were hundreds of spectators there so trying to get a clean shot of the cars was near impossible. So forgive me for the cropping and massacring the rule of thirds. After 3 hrs. of shooting I was burnt out, but I had a good time.

One of my neighbors had his can in the show. He was polishing it for days before the event. Nice to see these old classics out and about. Aloha

If only we had some knowledge of what these cars would be worth when we were young. If I'm not mistaken, I think Kiffi had one of these... Nice capture.....wish I was there too. Aloha

We had a classic car show here too, I think just about any holiday is a chance for these guys to bring out their pride & joy, for the crowds to admire!! Wish I still had some of my first cars, but who knew???? Cool shot!!! Aloha...

I'll take that old woody in the background--I've always loved them!! There's a big car show coming up here soon--come on over and check em out!! Wish I still had that old 55 Ford Ranch Wagon (3 on the tree) I Iearned to drive on (omg, did I just give away my age???).
