Description
The young archaeologist, having stumbled upon the ruins of a dragon worshipping temple and almost getting devoured by the resident dragon, redeems himself when the dragon's hatchling takes a liking to him. As a reward for his kind heart, the dragon allows him to live and have one wish. He surprises her by asking he to be allowed to be friends with both of them and learn anything they would be willing to teach him. The dragon grants his wish. Over the course of the next several years, he learns many interesting facts about dragons and what was real and what wasn't real in the myths and fantasies of his world.
