The hardest part was recreating that weird font used in the 70's Bantam book reprints - I had to create it in a font program in order to get Photoshop's text warping to work...thank you for your comments.

Recaptured the classic 50c paperback feel quite well. Placing Kong upside down and in the lower left corner seriously deminishes his presence here. I'd've turned him at least 90 degrees clockwise, withj his snarling head to Doc's left while the hand is about to grab Doc from the right. And Doc's pose.... the flailing legs just don't work. You'd prbably be better off cropping him at the thighs.
