Description

The lovely halo effect with the darkened edges was a fluke (I love it when that happens) How? Well, the sky is an alpha plane and I pointed a soft spotlight at it because it was so dark in the scene :) Thanx 4 peekin' Church and houses are Dark_Anvil and the water is from my Water Pack 2

Marvelous, absolutly stunning. faroutsider said, "I can hear the evening sounds and feel the breeze on my neck" But I can feel the hairs on my arm standing up! If I may say one thing only the left side of the left tree does not blend into the background so well as the other trees! The painting is immensely beatiful but also makes me sad, reminding me of all the times and places I have not been to.

Beautiful Gill! Thanks for the explanation. I thought you may have done that effect in post processing. Unfortunately I couldn't make out any buildings, but then I do have my monitor set a bit dark. I prefer it that way. (My monitor that is) Very well done. :-)
