T.H.E. Cat I My New Neighbor {The Girl Next Door} She moved in the apartment down the hall about a month ago now, and I'm already crazy heads over heals for her. My apartment is on the front side of the building. so if I'm looking out my window and see her walking up the street heading home I grab the leash, call Duke, and head out the door hoping we can run into her before she reaches the elevator. Funny thing is, if I had not gotten him when he was just a pup, I'd truly believe he once belong to her. Finally one day the perfect excuse came my way. "With a nervous laugh he said", would you believe I needed to borrow a cup of sugar? Gathering myself up I knocked on her door. "Come in", she called as if knowing all along it was me and I had been expected. When I opened her door and entered, there she was sitting at her computer sipping a glass of wine reading about some ancient Egyptian artifact on display at the meseum or natural history.
