Thanks for stopping by ;)
I originally joined Renderosity a few years ago, along with several other art communities. I tend to migrate from one to another and back - and I have now migrated back here... Other places you might find me are Deviantart.com and flickr.com, as well as photo.net and jerryhazard.com, but flickr.com is the most accurate collection of my current work. Over the next few months, my gallery here will slowly update as well...
BIOI am a 70's child, raised on images; from Captain Kangaroo to Sesame Street, from the Wide World of Sports to National Geograhic, and of course all the advertisements that cement them all together. As a result, I like to create images, of all types; from emotionally laden heavy hitters to just "cool things to look at".
Started with a Canon AE-1, learned all the manual controls, film processing, developing, darkroom printing, and caught on to the digital aspect at about the same time, so I learned them in tandem. I shoot primarily with digital; it's easier - but just say I appreicate both. I now shoot primarily with a Canon EOS 300D-Digital Rebel.
Influential photographers you may have heard of:
Helmut Newton, Duane Michals, Robert Frank, Cindy Sherman, Jan Saundek, and a ton of others, but those are the ones that fist struck me.
I create images as my own personal expressions, opinions, or ideas of what's going on around me - Photography is my reaction to reality... I enjoy stark portrayals of reality; untouched "pure images", but prefer to alter images to my own personal vision...
A little retarded musically, I am an outdoors person, and have just relocated myself to Albuquerque, New Mexico.

:) thanks! I got mine as a "gift" from some friend who were moving and needed to lighten their load a bit. Since I've recieved this one, I've come across two others that match, but have not been able to retreive them - so seeing your images of the chair was a treat!. Take care!
