Hello ! Yes, there were thistles too on that lovely field. I think this is rather beautiful. Thank you so very much for your kind comments to yesterdays post. Wonderful Helle.I love this.When i saw it remembered me something from the sea...an anemone because the tentacles..they seem move and swim..A beautiful photo again Helle and you background unfocused is wonderful and its an incredible "touch" of art.You are a gem for me.

a beautiful simple capture, and eloquent and gentle—your hues are so gentle here. And the background blur is just right to my eye, as is the detail of the thistle. Poppies, in this soft focus, are like quiet suns...and I like that you gave that small sliver of sky above. Full size, this is really beautiful. You're just giving beauty after beauty here.
