Description

Another shot from my session with C_

Setup here is delightfully simple - single monolight (AB1600) in the 22 in. beauty dish very close to camera axis to camera left. I do love being able to use the beauty dish but it is quite a wrongly named item - in no way does it make anything or anyone beautiful lol. It perhaps brings out the beauty that is already there and is well represented with flawless makeup, but it casts a fairly harsh light and will reveal many imperfections that most people would rather hide.

I agree with you that this is a harder way to light a subject and still make it look appealing (which you did, very well). That's such a weird, jumbled, memorable pose the model is in too, great title for this.
