Light/Darkness (for Micheal)
Your words hang there
suspended in light
Locked in time
and imagination.
They grate and grind
smoothing rough edges
Their energies blending
clashing, spilling, coaxing
Reforming
Becoming new shapes
like a kaleidoscope
Pressed to a child's eye.
Inspired thoughts
by those words
touched as light released
Within a spirit
Re-sounding, re-verberating
Resonating, releasing.
Great flashes and nothingness
one can not exist
without the other.
And that is where
I dwell
The space between.
