Description

I will hit all the galleries this weekend gang. To zazou: In answer to your question about where I get my ideas. They just pop into my head. Something sparks my attention like a string of pearls, maybe a cool looking box or simply an old addage and my brain is off and running. I create on the fly. I seldom pre-create on paper. But as the ideas come, I do put them down on paper in outline form deciding on palette flow whatever needed prop/clip art/imagery that I will need to pull it off. Somebody told me once that if I sold the ideas in my head I would be rich...I dont know about that but I do know that Im thankful for my overactive muse. ::wink::

Wonderful texture work and mood. I like the old (as in an antique and weathered image) feel to this. It's fun to read about your imagination and how you develop your ideas. You have such a gift.

It is difficult to get past the rough and peeling textures of this portrait although the haunting image becons one to explore deeper. What lies under the cracked texture of her mind, why these pearls? One is left at the surface, why?
