My name is Andres Eugenio, but my friends call me Andy, and I've held a camera in my hands since I was 10 years old. I've been a jack of many trades; photo studio assistant, news camera, studio camera operator, cinematographer, and even tried my hand at screenwriting. I'm returning back to my first love and re-exploring the brave new world of digital photography. Though a part of me still misses the quiet solitude and smells of a darkroom, the wonders of post-digital work are limitless.
I'm originally born and raised in Miami, FL, but now make my home in Los Angeles, CA.

interesting shot, well seen... did you try a tighter crop maybe? I think removing the road from the front, and perhaps cropping the lamp=post out, would make this even more surreal, like the people are actually in the perspective scene a bit more..? just a thought ;)

I don't know if it is everywhere, but I have found that California has so many amazing murals on buildings. They appear out of the least suspect places to delight and brighten up some of the more repressed places. Before you know it, the neighborhood seems to come alive and find their pride again. Fabulous b/w with good composition.

This is great. I like the cropping as you've done it. The road and the lamppost all add to the contrast of the mural and the reality of urban locale.
