I’ve been waiting by the sea
My whole life
My eyes on the horizon
Looking for a sign
A sign that you even exist
Then on a mighty tide from God
It came to me
It drifted right up to my feet
A message in a bottle
A letter from you
Just for me
You’re out there
You love me
Even though you have never met me
There is a tingle in my spirit
A beat in my heart
I am not alive again
I am alive for the first time
In a single moment
In a few words
My whole life just got better
I am so nervous
Giddy
A child in love
What do I say?
Will you find my letter?
Do you walk by the sea everyday
Hoping I exist
