Description

I used to work in the water quality lab of the Environment Agency (National Rivers Authority when I started) We originally shared the building with the Regional Biolgy department and the Fisheries department. The lab was built on the old Victorian water works and Fisheries used the old settling ponds to farm fish for restocking rivers after fish-kill incidents. I was an early starter so got to see many many glorious dawns and sunrises over the fish ponds. This was one of the January dawns. Sadly, my first digital camera didn't have a particularly high resolution but it did take nice shots for digital manipulation. As I was taking a stroll down memory lane this evening, I found this shot and thought I'd have a play with it.
