Description

This image was taken at Shiloh National Military Park in 2004. It is displayed as part of Ruggles' Battery, which was the largest massed artillery bombardment ever seen in North America as of April 6, 1862 during the Battle of Shiloh.

Six pounds of powder and a load of grapeshot, we will hold this ground . When we're out of lead we will load logs. Give them tooth picks to chew on. Excellent point of capture and a good reminder freedom is not free of cost.
