Description
I whispered a wish
Into the sky
On silent breath
I watched it fly
Lost in the night
It tumbled away
Stars the only witness
To what I had to say
Silent and still
They do not reply
But stand thoughtful gaurd
Over my quiet cries
As the morning
Comes to light
And I know my wish
Has taken its' flight
On butterfly wings
And gentle breeze
It is carried away
Through the trees
My whispered wish
My silent scream
Has been set free
To become a dream.
