This is a beautiful image of subtle complexity. My first thought was that there were contradictions with the light source, until I considered the complexity of sky lighting at the time of a setting sun. Beyond the attractive image of the sail boat, sky, and sea this is also an interesting study of light, shadow and reflections. I think the decision to not put a figure on the boat was right, as this could have been a distraction.
