Description

Full size view recommended. When I was a kid I used to have posters of Roger Dean all over my bedroom walls. "Flight of Icarus" was one of them. I recently came across this image again somewhere on the net and I decided to make my own version, my homage to the great Master. Of course, my image pales in comparison but still it was fun to make. No postwork, except for signature. Thanks for watching!

Yessongs was and still is one of my favourite albums, the albumcover made by Roger Album attributed a great deal to the atmosphere of it. Your picture has the same atmosphere: really great!

Really cool - reminds me of the recent movie with Huge Jackson and Rachel Weisz called The Fountain where the guy is in space surrounded by a bubble and he's with the Tree of Life. Great render and nice concept.

I love Roger Dean's Art, too ! Your pict is a nice tribute of his images of the "YES" period : flying rocky islands with waterfalls. Your image is a little different,more spacial, but this is a nice and very poetic picture ! I think you really can do all what you want with Vue ! Excellent work !
