Because of countless requests ;), I made a watercolor of it too. LOL!!

lol, one is 'countless'...well one person can be the whole world, right? Carin's a terrific photographer, her vote is worth a "countless"...your green for the top of the vase is so right, it feels just right. I love the long darker lines and the white in the center, and the rest of the piece has your usual gentle touch, free, not fussy, elegant and loving. I don't know how long it took you, but it feels like you took your drawling and sprinkled magic dust on it, and presto: You got this. It's that gentle and right to me. Beautiful. (So you gonna put up an awful drawing one of these days? Something really gagging? I'm getting tired of all this beauty, lol!) I like your simple sky too—you took out the walls and windows. Very sweet choice & a very sweet piece. Like a mild summer breeze, it's all it has to be and it's wonderful.

Ohhhhh ... the green and brown of the vase (with that brown detail around the lip!) is evocative of another time, another era. It's beautiful! You have such a deep understanding of light and shading, that I always sit, mesmerised, by what you have done. I can feel the pottery under my hand when I look at this, and I have to keep reminding myself ... no, it's only paint. (But you know how much I love it when you paint!)
