yeah, instant fav for me too...another of your wondrous flower shots, another intimate view into the heart of the strangest & most opulent plant-form on earth (the 'sexual organ' of the plant kingdom, all draped out in its most sumptuous costume for its suitors). I know what you can do with whole flowers, and how you handle groups of them; but you're equally inspired with closeups. The interior looks like it goes on forever with that red plush carpeting leading into a deep undulant cave. (Are those stamens? i don't know what those are, but they're like one of those scarves from the Roaring 20's!) And the folds around the center are mysterious, multilayered and beautiful. Who needs PS layers when you have this! This is gorgeous, a Tara shot to the core, and it invites one in and in and in. An opulent piece of seeing.
