Description

What do we believe? Hmm... now that is quite a point to ponder, isn't it? There is a story that I once heard. It goes something like this. There was a man who was working in a refrigerator car in the railroad yard. While he was working, the door to the car shut and locked. The man was sure that we would freeze to death. The next morning when they found him, he had all the signs of having frozen to death. The odd thing about this story is that the electricity to the railroad car had been totally disconnected so the freezer had not been on. So when we think about it, if we believe that something is true, our minds will respond by making that belief a reality. If we believe that we can have all that we desire... all that we require... we will have created a mental equivalent of having that desire in our life experience. Creating a mental equivalent is one of the steps that we take in bringing our desires into form. So, today... just for today... we shall create the mental equivalent of that which we desire most. We shall know its qualities... what it feels like to have it in our lives. That which we dwell upon will expand so let us dwell upon our Greater Good and cause it to come into our lives. We just might be amazed at how much Good we can bring into our lives. Our thought for the day is: "Belief consists in accepting the affirmations of the soul; unbelief, in denying them." Ralph Waldo Emerson I wish you a day of wondrous dreams.... dreams of future times yet to come. I wish you peace and harmony... peace in your valley of life and harmony for your soul. But most of all, I wish you love... a love for life and all that it has to offer you. © Gayle O This is a single flame created in Apophysis 3D Hack. Beautiful fractal composition, Gayle. A strange story for sure. I also believe that our mind control us much more than we can imagine.

I've heard similar stories, and of course there is truth to them. The beauty of your image is that it both captures the webwork of self-induced thought, but also the beauty & dance that helps transcend it. You have all these little overlayed 'sheets' that make their way through the spirals, and most of the sheets have slightly different modeling (shading) and texture, though the differences are slight; and your spiral centers are filled with all kinds of holes into other layers of life, and all kinds of leaf-forms and other organic forms all intensely coagulating into each center. And your hues are quite varied, some almost christmas-y, with some beautiful fall hues, and some very light unsaturated blues and greens (like aqua greens). A very complex and beautiful image, and another evocation & transcendence of the stories you tell of the ways we get caught in our traps and webworks. Another beautiful piece from you, Gayle. Much luck on all you're doing now! I wish you great success at it!
