Description

We are off to the Hollow .. by way of a new galaxy recently found by the astromers of Apophysis .. they have not named yet, but it looks like a dog or bear paw .. so maybe there will be another Ursa something, or a Canis something .. It seems to have magical qualities to it, the space dust around it seems to hold an image of a Shaman dancing, perhpas conjuring life to the planets within this galaxy.. There are three flames here, all gnarl script by Bunny and Bart, layered in PSP. You can find the Gnarl Base+fociFX script at Deviant, and many other scripts as well: http://fractal-resources.deviantart.com/ Gosh, I was astounded at how many of you liked my very dark previous post! I'm in a much better frame of mind now, just knowing we are headed for the Hollow tomorrow!! Yipeeee!! We'll probably be gone for five days or so. Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments .. I loved reading each and every one! Thank you for all the faves too. Hope everyone has a good week .. I'll be trying to catch up again when I get back.

very nice galactic, nebula-filled, black-hole-ish, creation-of-the-universe type image, with lots of deep space & swirly forms & silken sheaths and other star stuff...and I love the milky spill in the bottom right which gives birth to this dancing galaxy goddess, who looks like it's having a helluva time. Really nice colors & a lot of fun: Fractals meet Carl Sagan! (Can I say that? Does anyone remember Carl Sagan???) Wonderful & playful. Have a great trip!

Intricate composition! And this light looks like a doorway leaving lots of room for imagination. What is on the other side of this Universe....? Mystery mystery!

Oddly, in response to anahata.c's comment, I've recently been streaming Carl Sagan's "Cosmos" series through my Netflix account (isn't technology wonderful?) and that's what immediately came to mind when I saw this design. I love to stop and sit back in awe of the universe, and this image takes it to a different level--zooming deeply inside fractals to discover new worlds and wondering what it's all about. Gorgeous work!

Great stuff as always. The sad part is, there's probably no dog or bear aliens in that galaxy...
