Description

This is Assembly Control calling all Zero-X units, assembly Phase One - GO. These words marked the start of the 1966 Gerry Anderson movie - "Thunderbirds Are Go". The movie would see the work of Gerry Anderson make the transition from TV to the big screen and would feature not only the incredible machines of International Rescue but the awsome spacecraft ZERO-X. Seen here is the first in a series of pictures I have created to show the assembly sequence of the Zero-X spacecraft. In this picture you can see the Main Body of the craft as it rolls out of its hanger onto the launch apron to await the arrival of the additional sections which come together to complete the vehicle before take-off.

Very cool! The little 60's police cars give it the just the right indicator of scale.
