Description

Mistress... We are receiving elecromag transmission from gunships claiming to be from the Cruiser Triumphant.. They claim to be a rescue mission looking for survivors from the survey Ship Icarus.. Icarus' ships log indicates. We crashed here 1379 orbits ago and have had no comms with any external sentients since that time.. As We now know, the permanent Magstorms in the ionosphere cause fluctuations affecting time, The electron clocks aboard the search vessels together with data from the ships log indicate that we were lost from their comnet only five sevedays ago.. To Your time reckoning, the surviving sentients have been here for 22 generations.. -------------------------- My thanks to shamstar Who provided the original image and idea.. Awesome time-displacement story, kinda Bermuda-Triangle style, just on a whole planetary scale! Using another's render as a backdrop is nicely done here, with the foreground looking like an open rock face on a mountainside.
